Engineering Support

Provide leadership and support on technical matters throughout the development process and during construction and commissioning with a focus on renewable power generation and battery energy storage system. as well as construction, and interconnection for projects nation-wide.

Support greenfield development through site screening and selection, system feasibility studies, preliminary design, cost estimates, and overall technical due diligence.

support the process for submittal of interconnection requests (LGIA) for renewable generation and energy storage energy projects.

Cost Analysis

Support capital cost estimating, operational cost estimating, contract structuring, permitting, use-case analysis and financial optimization for Solar projects, battery energy storage systems and Solar+BESS projects. Work with Developer/owner financial team to create financial models and Pro-forma

lead and support RFPs for EPC and key equipment vendors. support Bidding process and contractor/vendor selection

Support efforts to optimize solar, and energy storage generation systems design and output.

Help develop the technical aspect of economic models to support improvement of project return on investment.

Manage the preparation of technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and design plans related to projects and analysis of increasing scope and complexity

Risk Mitigation

Use experience and knowledge of renewable and energy storage facilities, utility interconnection requirements, control schemes, and energy contracting to evaluate, identify, and mitigate commercial risks associated with proposed project designs.

Help Developer/owner stay informed of technology advancements, market trends, and relevant guidelines and standards related to Renewable generation and energy storage technology.

Collaboration

Work collaboratively with key personnel on the Development/Owner team, including Project Management and Construction (PMC), Supply Chain, IT, and Health & Safety, Operations and others. liaisone with outside, third-party consultants and provide leadership for Owner’s engineer (OE) team during development and EPC/construction phase, including weekly progress meetings, Design reviews and meetings with regulatory agencies.

Develop project schcedule, work breakdown structures, budget and cashflow estimates for development and construction. Lead and support RFPs for EPC and key equipment vendors. support Bidding process and contractor/vendor selection

Maintain equipment supplier relationships and advise Supply Chain and PMC on technology trends.
